Description:
Children's literature is full of references to foods and other ideas that can inspire "cooking" activties for preschool-age children. The skills developed through these activities include: pre-math; pre-reading; health, safety, and nutrition; following directions, cooperation, science and many more. Our speakers will show you how to incorporate early literacy into cooking activities that are fun and healthy for children at home and in the classroom. The best part is, children will have so much fun doing these activities, they won't even know they're learning. So put on your chef's hat and join us for some fun! Teachers will receive a certificate worth 2 state mandated hours.
